Write & Sip

Our last Write & Sip for 2025 in November at the Whisky Lounge was pure creative magic!

23 members and guests gathered to explore art through words and transformation. We started by reflecting on several pieces of artwork, letting our thoughts and feelings flow onto the page. Then we moved on to redacted poetry. Armed with book pages, markers, highlighters, and washi tape, everyone carved out their own unique poems by selectively revealing and concealing words.

What we loved about this event? 23 people, 23 different perspectives, 23 one-of-a-kind pieces of poetry to take home. Watching everyone discover hidden meanings and create something entirely new from existing text was inspiring.
