Sausage Sizzle Fundraisers
The GCWA is a not-for-profit organisation, that means the main focus is not on generating income as would be the case if it was a business enterprise. However, in order to run, maintain and develop the association and it’s various programs and projects, funds do need to be generated.
The majority of the GCWA’s revenue is raised from membership and meeting fees. These fees generally go towards operational costs, like hall hire, printing, catering, etc. Funds for the development of new programs, projects and marketing of the association usually need to come from other sources, like raffles and other fundraising initiatives.
This year we will be holding a series of Sausage Sizzle Fundraisers at Masters Home Improvement Centres. We need your assistance to run them, and your support with attendance and promotion.
If you can spare a couple of hours on any of the following dates and would like to volunteer to help cook or serve sausage sandwiches and drinks, please email Louisa Wright at firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred dates / locations.
If you are unable to help out but may be in the area on those dates, please do come along and have lunch with us… and invite your friends too.
